Built upon God’s Hierarchy of Needs
God’s Hierarchy of Needs is a comprehensive biblical approach to counseling that is whole-person oriented through addressing the seven critical dimensions of human existence: spiritual, relational, emotional, personal, mental, physical, and eternal.

We train and certify counselors using a methodology that is both clinically informed and biblically based. This process empowers them to deliver comprehensive care addressing the interconnected needs of the whole person: body, mind, and soul. Through this framework, counselors gain deep spiritual integration philosophy, proficiency in counseling techniques, clinical knowledge, and refined therapeutic skills, enabling them to effectively serve a diverse population with complex issues.

God is spirit. At the core of every person is their spirit, which is the most critical part of us needing first and foremost to be renewed and correctly aligned with God. In one way or another everything will boil down to something spiritual, for within our spirits is our very foundation holding our beliefs, will, and identity. It is within our spirits that we have been given connection with God and then choose to follow the path of life or death.
The triune God has made us to be in relationship, first with Himself, and then with others. We are meant to live in community, working together to accomplish our purpose in God’s divine order. Relationships can be some of the most fulfilling aspects of our lives and some of the most challenging. The connections we have with others are invaluable and the God-given roles we play through interacting with those around us are essential.
God cares about our hearts. In fact, He prioritizes our hearts over many other aspects of our being. For within the heart is the wellspring of life...the intentions, desires, and motivations for all that we do. Our heart drives us, so having our hearts molded like clay within the hands of the potter is an absolutely necessary step for us in the sanctification process.
There is One God and no one else is like Him. Every person to ever exist is a unique creation of God and there are no two people exactly alike in any way. Understanding people’s personal make-up, strengths and weakness, and likes and dislikes allows discovery and fulfillment of an individual’s calling and helps them live a life full of satisfaction.
God plans, reasons, and remembers. Being created in His likeness, He has given us these abilities too. Our minds need to be renewed, and we must learn to take every thought captive. Helping people overcome confusion and grow in wisdom and understanding is necessary for them to pursue God’s calling upon their life.
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Our heavenly Father has given us a body to accomplish His will. We should discipline ourselves to do all He has for us, while living in community within the greater Body of Christ. Taking care of our bodies and His Body is how we participate in God’s bigger story and remain integral members of His church.
God is, was, and is to come. He has set eternity within our hearts. God has a perfect plan to make new, to redeem and restore, and to resurrect all good things. Whatever counsel one gives or receives should always be in light of eternity, pointing us to the straight and narrow path.

Across America we are training counselors in a way never before done to revitalize counseling and make it relevant for all to see people everywhere learn to build their lives upon the rock.

Biblical authority
Counseling must be grounded in the Word of God because Christ alone is the “Wonderful Counselor” and He is the Light of the World. Good counseling must prioritize the spiritual and always point people towards eternity.

Clinically informed
We do not divorce biblical counseling from science or psychology but rather subject these two studies under the authority of Christ and filter them through the lens of Scripture.

Compassionate care
Christian counseling requires treating the whole person (body, mind, soul). We use God's Hierarchy of Needs to train counselors to serve with excellence in the 7 critical dimensions of existence: spiritual, relational, emotional, personal, mental, physical, and eternal.

Biblical counseling has not yet achieved its rightful place in America. Secular mental health care is the predominant form of counseling occurring day in and day out, a reality we believe grieves the heart of God and one He is calling His people to change.
